The Lament of David Fisher - Part 1

Some months ago our own David B. Fisher left the comfort of of his Lexington abode to start a new life in the shadow of the Teton mountains. Here, B found the peace and hopefulness he was looking for. But, due to a wickedly acrimonious alignment of the stars, B was whisked away from us. He now resides in the Queen City, the seat of North Carolina. I told B that I would send him a picture a day, until he returned.

While I'm sure that B may question his departure from time to time, I'm sure he will get the last laugh 20 years from now when he is sending me daily pictures from his own vacation in Jackson Hole during comfortable retirement while my career is still underway.
